GEOFIX® – Polyurethane Foam
- GEOFIX® one-component polyurethane foam in an aerosol-type tin container with a capacity of 750 [ml]
- Preparation with polyurethane polymer. Contains 4,4’-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate. The propellant does not contain FCKW or propane/ butane
- Foaming temperature from +18°C to 25°C
- Foam capacity obtained from the container 42±3 [l]
- Foam mass obtained from the container 0.84±0.06 [kg]
Fields of Application
In the mining industry:- Filling and closing exploratory and pressure relief boreholes and demethanising holes
- Sealing the gap between a pipe and the drill hole wall
- Making plugs in openings for pumping adhesive in or der to mount rope bolts
- Sealing cracks and scratches in stoppings
- Filling pipe culverts, cable grommets and service penetrations
- Joining wooden elements in frame structures
Advantages
- Eliminating thermal bridges
- Very good adhesion to various bases
- Resistant to high and low temperatures (from - 50°C to +110°C)
- High heat-insulating properties owing to a very low heat-transfer coefficient
- Durable, odorless, chemically inert, non-toxic
- Not rotting, not decaying, resistant to fungi, mould and bacteria
- Soundproof
- Structure strengthening
- A very short time of carrying out work and achieving mechanical strength
- Gas-proof, wind barrier and aeration resistant properties
- Easy to carry, treat and fix
- Polyurethane foam is resistant to the action of fungi and mould; not liked by insects and rodents. Resistant to water vapour diffusion. Not ageing, that is, despite the progress of time, it does not change its mechanical and insulation parameters. Applied on wood, it does not cause decay or rotting – sterile
- Precise proportioning
- Fit for plastering
